Web Sites vs. Web Applications
A custom web site can help your business present your products,
services, and any other information you want your visitors to have access to. We can even add an
affordable e-commerce solution. If all you want to do is present information (a good first step at
Internet advertising), then a custom web site is all you need. Building a custom web site is relatively
simple because the development technology is simple to use. For dynamic content such as e-business,
collaborative content, and member-only web sites a is required.
Payment
Payment is usually by approved check or money order.
For first-time customers, we generally request prepayment of 50 percent of the final quote,
with the balance due upon completion of our work. If your project is divided into clearly distinct
parts you can usually pay part-by-part, as each is completed.
For established customers and businesses known to us, we can usually bill you upon completion of your
project or each distinct part of your project.
Estimates
After familiarizing ourselves with your project, we can give you a close estimate of the hours
required to complete the job and of your total cost. Only then do you decide whether to give us
the go-ahead.

With our Small Business Packages, we can quickly and efficiently
gather requirements, design, build, host, and advertise your web site. This is not a template
site, but a completely custom and original site designed especially for your company. We've designed
hundreds of web sites, and provide a superior service. Your web site will be constructed from scratch,
and you will have the ability to both modify and review your site during construction.

Your journey onto the internet starts with a well conceived
professional presentation web site. When you're ready, you can add more costly features such as

Consisting of one to five pages, this is the most basic form of Web
site--the Internet's equivalent of a flyer or pamphlet. This makes a Web presence possible
for small businesses on a very tight budget. Because we devote the same care and artistic
effort to your one page that we give to our biggest clients, you will have an eye-catching
and informative site at a bargain price.
The Brochure plan includes:

- An attractive, distinctive graphic theme for your site.
- The incorporation of unlimited numbers of pre-scanned graphics into your
site. (Many design firms will charge you for incorporating a
graphic, even if you provide it.)

We recommend this as the minimum size for your site, if at all
possible. The Small Business package, with six to nine pages, will give you room to describe your
business, draw the reader's attention to special services or promotions, and give detailed
directions and contact information.
